Project Scope - Demo of decommissioned unit and expansion of Imaging Space allowed the new GE Imaging Equipment installation at Blue Ridge Medical Center. To accommodate this 2,000lbs of state-of-the-art equipment block piers, steel beams, and steel plates were installed to supplement the existing wood floor joists; on the electrical side, the building service was upgraded, in coordination with Duke Power, and exterior Transformer/Panel assembly was modified for the power of the GE Main Disconnect Panel.
