Ichiban - Restaurant Renovation
CLIENT - Ichiban Japanese Hibachi and Sushi Bar
LOCATION – Asheville, NC
PROJECT SCOPE – When Hurricane Helene devastated Ichiban’s original Biltmore Village location, RYSE Construction partnered with the restaurant’s leadership team to rapidly adapt and rebuild. The project involved transforming a former Cracker Barrel site off Tunnel Road at 130 Hospitality Way into a modern, high-capacity dining destination.
SCOPE OF WORK:
RYSE Construction completed a comprehensive 3,500 sq ft interior upfit engineered specifically for specialized restaurant operations. Key project elements include:
Specialized Hibachi Stations: Installation of 8 custom hibachi grill stations complete with integrated commercial ventilation and utility infrastructure.
Dining & Bar Upgrades: Construction of a custom sushi bar, full-service wet bar, and custom fixed seating layouts to maximize floor plan efficiency and guest flow.
Interior & Exterior Design Integration: Comprehensive interior finish upgrades, paired with exterior façade enhancements aligned with the brand’s updated aesthetic vision.
Through dedicated coordination and quality craftsmanship, RYSE helped deliver a resilient commercial space that allowed a flagship Asheville restaurant to reopen its doors and continue serving the local community.
