LOCATION – Highlands, NC
PROJECT SCOPE – RYSE partnered with Highlands-Cashiers Hospital to renovate and modernize an aging nurse station within the hospital’s acute care wing. The existing station had reached the point where repairs were no longer practical, making a full replacement the best long-term solution for staff functionality and patient support.
Working in an active patient care environment required careful planning and strict infection prevention measures throughout demolition and installation. Despite limited working space, our team maintained a safe, clean environment while minimizing disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
The renovation included demolition of the existing nurse station, installation of a new custom-built station with solid surface countertops, and upgraded power and data infrastructure to better support the needs of clinical staff.
