HCA Blue Ridge Regional Hospital Facilities & MRI Replacement

LOCATION – Spruce Pine, NC
PROJECT SCOPE – Existing MRI Cassette and storage space conversion to MRI Suite and equipment room consisting of new construction and 630 square feet of interior renovations including MRI Room, MRI Control Room, and Equipment Room. RYSE Construction worked collaboratively with hospital leadership and facilities to ensure Infection Prevention and Patient Life-Safety measures were maintained during construction in an active Imaging Suite and Ambulance Entry. The construction scope consisted of demoing the MRI Cassette connected to the Hospital, demoing openings in the exterior Hospital structure for new MRI Suite and Equipment room expansions, concrete slab of grade foundations, structural steel columns and metal decking, Radiofrequency Shielding installation, and coordinating equipment installation with GE Healthcare.
Our firm has had the opportunity to work with RYSE Construction on several healthcare facilities, and these projects have all been very successful. We appreciate their attention to detail, ability to accommodate tight schedules as well as their prompt communication and careful coordination skills that are required for medical projects.
