LOCATION – Candler, NC
PROJECT SCOPE – This is a new, ground-up 7,500SF construction for Mountain Ear, Nose, and Throat in Candler, NC. The project consists of approx. 4,500 SF of healthcare upfit with 3,000SF of warm shell for a future tenant. The project is located at the existing Westridge development located off Smokey Park Highway in Candler, NC. Building specifics include wood framed construction with a mixture of brick, EIFS, and storefront exterior. Some project challenges include: This project is on a postage stamp site that required a large retaining wall and a significant amount of soil export to accommodate the building pad. The retail center is also very busy throughout the day, thorough logistics and communication were crucial to ensuring adjacent tenants were not impacted during construction.
I can't say enough about the work RYSE construction did for us on our new medical office in West Asheville. After building four offices over the last several years in Western NC, this was my first time working with RYSE and I can honestly say it was a breath of fresh air. From my first meeting with Ethan Young and his help dealing with permitting and construction concerns and design, to the everyday management of Hunter Gant and Todd Beaulieu over the course of the project, my expectations were exceeded. I found them to be conscientious, offering cost saving solutions and recommendations when appropriate. The level of communication, accountability and attention to detail was beyond anything I have experienced in the past. The job site was so efficient and work was completed almost to the day of when it was projected - their skill, expertise and experience working in Western North Carolina was evident in all that they did. I could not recommend their team highly enough!
